8ON8 Gel-Kayano 14 - Indigo Blue

Rising Chinese fashion label 8ON8 and Asics continue their collaborative partnership with a duo of Gel-Kayano 14 colourways. Founded in 2017, 8ON8 is the brainchild of Li Gong, a Central Saint Martins menswear fashion graduate. The brand represents Gong's interpretation of retro-futuristic aesthetics.

For this capsule the Gel-Kayano 14 provides the canvas, with a vision to combine outdoor trail running style with 1980's pop neon colours.

The upper is a combination of breathable microfibre and thickened textured TPU to lend the silhouette a more outdoor feel, while a highly-saturated main colour covers the entire shoe, with pops of neon colour and reflective detailing used to highlight various structural details.
